I started Peanuts and Bologna Studios back in 2017, though at the time it was simply called Peanut Studios. A big part of my creative journey began when I moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in search of a little self-discovery. While I was there, my passion for photography, which had been sitting quietly since high school, came back to life after my mom gifted me an amateur camera for my 24th birthday. What started as a way to distract myself from the loneliness of being away from family and friends soon grew into something much more meaningful.
My very first photography job was taking family portraits for a family I had grown close to while caring for their daughter with special needs. That experience reminded me how powerful art can be in connecting people. From there, I dove deeper into creativity in all its forms. Alongside photography, I’ve exhibited my artwork in Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, Fort Worth, and soon Phoenix. I also love writing short stories, which is one of the ways I let my imagination wander. And even though I consider myself pretty mediocre at piano, I keep playing — and singing, too — just because it brings me joy.
One of my biggest goals is to build a healthy, intentional lifestyle that I can pass down to my kids. I want to encourage them to slow down, find their own rhythm, and embrace the beauty of creativity. To me, the arts are one of the best teachers of patience, and I hope they can discover that same kind of magic in their own lives.
